SAFAPR is collecting donations on behalf of the Santuario de Animales San Francisco de Asis and we URGENTLY need YOUR HELP.

At this time, the sanctuary runs entirely on donations of cash, food, & supplies, as well as volunteer service.

The monthly food bill for our sanctuary full of dogs and cats awaiting adoption is $1600 alone. If we do not continually raise these funds, our animals will risk starvation. We do NOT have excess reserve funds on hand. Our survival each month depends on donations from people like you making contributions of any amount.

Currently we accept 3 primary methods of accepting cash donations:

• METHOD 1 – INSTANT ONLINE DONATION: Donate online instantly via any major credit card (VISA, MASTERCARD, American Express, and Discover), or via your PayPal account.
• METHOD 2 – CHECK BY MAIL: Send Payment via Postal Mail (check, money order, or gift certificates):

• METHOD 3 – BANK TRANSFER: Make a bank transfer directly to the SAFAPR account.
  • Note: In Puerto Rico, this can be done at any branch of Banco Popular, whether you are an account holder or not.
  • Here is how:
    • Proceed to the bank teller with cash or check ready to deposit into the sanctuary account.
    • If you are an account holder at Banco Popular, you should only require your ATM card, or be able to provide your account #.
    • Tell them the amount you would like to donate, and provide the following information for the sanctuary.

Note: Transfers from banks other than Banco Popular may require a significant transfer fee, although this may be acceptable for International donors. However, we encourage the use of online payments as the quickest method of getting the much need funds to the sanctuary. Postal mail is a 2nd option that will help to avoid fees.
