A Cheetah Gives Us Hope – Amazing Video YOU MUST SEE!

Have you spend a little time with nature lately?

What you are missing out on! Mysteries…mysteries…mysteries answered out there and you’ll miss out on,   because you simply chose to stay in and do the couch potato thingy.  It is amazing how much a simple action of getting up from you computer at night, stepping outside and just looking up, will do for your soul.

The millions stars in the pitch black sky, the soft colder wind in you face and skin, the different smell of the night and the sounds that accompany it, can make of your existence and sleep time wonders.

Lately, I have made it a point to look at nature a bit closer. Not your typical beach day where you scorch laying out so that you can sport your usual malignant neoplasmic tan. But actually going to take a closer look. How about grabbing some sand in your hand a looking over it with a magnifying glass? Or going out on a starry night where you listen to the sound of the waves and the smell of the ocean? Nature will make you a believer. I am discovering that life’s answers to difficult questions are found in Nature itself.

Recipe for defeating depression

When you are depressed and feel that everything around you is overwhelming and undesirable, and you wish you were somewhere else, do the following: Take a shower, get some comfy clothes grab a bottle of water and walk along side of the beach. Look at the ocean. Breathe the salty breeze. Close your eyes and stretch. And if you live in a place like Puerto Rico, go ahead and dip yourself in the warm bath waters of the Mighty Ocean. Catch some early morning sun rays and move your body inside that huge overpowering and resisting body of water. Play mom and child where the Ocean is the Mom and you are the child and throw yourself back into her hands and float. Leave it all there and think how this ocean keeps itself contained. Holding into itself all it is given constantly fighting against all the nastiness, but keeping itself from overflowing. And of course, holding itself collected, functional and a blessing to the world no matter the situation.

Relationships

Have you ever felt like the communication inside your community, at home, in your office or business environment is less than desirable? If all involved would take a look at how an ant hill works, and you all adopted their submitting behavior, the world would be a better place. Ants are sociable animals. Everyone at the colony knows their function. You have the workers, the soldiers, the queens, etc. They operate as a unified entity to support their colony. As a unit, they modify their habitats, they take advantage of resources around them and they defend themselves. They co-exist with other species in various relationships. They solve complex problems paralleling them with human societies and their complex behaviors.

So, why can’t we just get along? What is it that we are doing that makes us less than the diminutive ant? If you look at the ant colonies and you compare them to YOUR colonies, you can point out elements missing in yours, that if restored, would probably bring back the flow needed to make things work. Usually elements like greed, self centered-ness, fear, jealousy and insecurities are behaviors NOT included in the ant’s colonies’ modus operandi. That in itself explains a lot about human’s learned behavior! :)

Un-learning what we have learned

It seems that the main problem of most of our earth’s issues are caused by the lack of control of man kind. When we were born we did not know anything. We came to this earth with some differentiating embedded genetic information that would incline us to be a certain way or another. Code that make us do things that we don’t know at times where such behaviors come from, but, we still learn new things every day. Things we were not born with. We get information from our caretakers, schools, friends, family, media, and nature itself, if we are, at all, exposed to it.

If we were able to unlearn from our lives all unnatural input, and let the influence of nature enter our realm, we might actually see who we really are in the core. Simple, natural behaviors like caring, unselfishness, team work, security, communication, adaptation and problem solving strategic behavior would be the operating mechanisms dictating our actions, to name a few. And if we would add the cradling, control, and possibilities our earth, wind and fire elements offer us, we could have co-existed happily and comfortably only looking forward to Nature’s fluctuations of climate as our biggest threat…just like the Tainos.

Now what can we do?

Our behaviors have taken us this far. Disease, famine, species extinction, social and economic collapse, resources crisis, relationship destruction, family disintegration, amongst others, are the result of steering away from focus. Are the result of trying to get somewhere by heading in the wrong direction. Is trying to achieve great things without sacrifice. Is trying to be too comfortable to change. Is…forgetting to LOVE.

Refocusing is a start. Going back to nature is a great start. Don’t pretend that everything is fine. Be and act  conscious by not overlooking the signs that warn us. Fix the past. Don’t be reactive. Do not become a fixer upper, where you spend most of your life fixing the past and making up for it. Be proactive, and do something about the present now, before things break. It is easier to start in zero (0) and go up from there, than start in negative so that you can get to zero. And if you get past zero (0), you will discover that you will be “in the positive” by becoming an integral part of life that “adds” to it rather than destroy, take, or consume.

Some people will still give the excuse that they did not know, but it is ALL there. It is a matter of taking it in and making it yours, or not. We all are given the same chance. :)

Listen to “The Man in the Mirror” by Michael Jackson and go…Make a change!

Here is a short YouTube video, YOU MUST SEE, of an animal that chooses a different path. It chooses to go against itself and what it (she) has learned so far through life. She listens to her inner self and forgets about other opinions and what has been established as “normal”. The result: something amazing and inspirational.

If this animal can do this, do you think YOU can shift your paradigm? Enjoy!
